How to give CPR?

CPR stands for cardiopulmonary resuscitation. It is a method to save the life of a person who has suffered myocardial infarction {MI} or a heart attack. You have to give CPR to the patient within 30 minutes of the heart attack to ensure that it prevents the brain-dead condition.

To give CPR to the patient, you have to open the mouth of the patient and blow in air through your mouth into his. While doing so, make sure that the nose of the patient is blocked with your fingers so that the air blown in does not passes out through his nose. Blow in air for approximately 1 second as you will see the patient's chest rising.

After that press the chest of the patient with your both hands {using 2 or 3 fingers} 30 times repititively.press the chest only upto the depth of 1/2 to 1/3 of the overall depth of the chest.                         [caution-do not press the chest too strongly or too weekly, the compressions should be of average strength]

Repeat the process 3-4 times unless the person regains consciousness and starts to breathe on his own.
Also, take
the patient to the hospital immediately even after the successful redemption of his life
